Nova Research Laboratories LLC Announce a new Scientific Advisory Board Member.

The new member will enhance board’s focus on clinical research in cardiac arrhythmias, electrocardiography and electrophysiology.

New Orleans, LA – Nova Research Laboratories LLC. today announced a new Scientific Advisory Board Member (Jay W. Mason MD). Dr Mason will help add clinical expertise to support Nova’s contract research services and consultations services.

Dr. Mason is Professor of Medicine (Cardiology) at the University of Utah, Chief Medical Officer at Spaulding Clinical Research, and an independent consultant in cardiac safety. He was a member of the Stanford University Faculty in Cardiology from 1975 to 1983. He became Chief of Cardiology at the University of Utah in 1983. In 1999 he was appointed Chairman of the Department of Medicine at the University of Kentucky. From 2003 to 2007 he served as Medical Director and Director of R&D at Covance Cardiac Safety Services. His clinical, teaching and research emphasis is in cardiac arrhythmias, electrocardiography and electrophysiology.

Nova Research Laboratories LLC is a new name for an ion channel CRO Dr. Crumb started in 1996 called Zenas Technologies. Since that time, we have screened 1000’s of compounds, provided the hERG data for the ILSI/HESI study which became the foundation of the current S7B guidelines, and more recently have been contracted by the FDA to provide ion channel data for the update to the S7B...the CiPA initiative
